Career and Technical Student Organizations (CTSOs)

Career and Technical Student Organizations (CTSOs) are a basic component of career and technical programs that provide students with skills and knowledge to succeed in their chosen career field. Students have the opportunity to compete at the state and national levels for the promotion of teamwork, occupational excellence, leadership and citizenship. Brevard County students actively participate in the seven (7) Career and Technical Student Organizations listed below:

Career Education Clubs of Florida (CECF)

CECF promotes educational and civic programs and provides opportunities for students to compete and further enhance skills learned in DCT. Improved cooperative spirit among students, parents and business community partners is achieved through job-related experiences and promoting in-depth probes of high skill/high wage careers. Once dedicated solely to the State of Florida, CECF has recently partnered at the National level with Business Professionals of America (BPA), giving students even more opportunity to explore the leadership, citizenship, academic, and technological skills necessary in today's workplace.
